<-- : Talking to yourself puts you in a good mood.... : -->

First of all, a very happy 23rd to one of my bestest best pals, Michelle Cheang Yee Ling!

This year is the 11th year that I am wishing her a happy birthday.

Boy, I can't stress enough on how time flies.

It was snowing very heavily during the weekend. Everything looks literally snow-white - so pretty. I felt like a little kid anticipating a white christmas and feeling a burst of delight when I woke up to a bed of snow outside my window.

And I was thinking to myself. It was already December. It felt like summer was over not too long ago. Yet, in merely a few months, summer would be here again. Well, first comes spring. But somehow, summer feels like it is just within reach.

And consequently, I concluded for the trillionth and hundredth time that... time flies.

On a totally irrelevant note, I love nature. I really do. I don't think I am a super outdoor person. I doubt that I would brave the wilderness in an OBS-like surrounding. Yet, I love nature.

I love watching how snow falls on rooftops and trees and everything else. I love to smell the fresh aroma of pine wood on a damp and cold day. I love gazing into the sky at night to see a million stars shining back at me. I am amazed sometimes, at how happy it makes me feel to see the clear blue sky, be it on a hot summer day or a cold winter one. Did I mention that I love the scent of pine wood? Somehow not many people are able to distinguish this smell. In fact, it seems that I am the only person that can detect it!

It's odd, I know. I am aware that I don't seem like the kind of person to be associated with nature. lol. But as a little kid, I had visited many waterfalls in West Malaysia. My dad used to like bringing us to waterfalls, streams, beaches where we would BBQ or have a picnic. Every vacation, we would go somewhere, usually overseas. And one year, my dad decided that we would tour Malaysia and ended up going to some beach every weekend - PD, Penang, Cherating, etc. We even went to Desaru lol. Which is in Johor, very close to Singapore and is well-known for its sudden-deep coast aka the territory of sharks.

Anywhos, I'm glad I was brought up in the 90s. Imma 90s kid yo! haha. I seriously will never trade my childhood with any kid today. I was fine without the computer, without PS3s and Wiis. SuperNintendo rocks!! Super Mario and Tetris! Hahaha. I loved my cartoons too. Ducktales.. a woo-hoo! (you know, the song....)

And I also think our music back then was wayyyyy better. NKOTB, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls hahaha. MAN! I used to be such a huge fan! Music these days are all about bling blings, chicks in sleazy outfits, if anything at all, cars, black rappers rapping about being cool and gangsta... I miss all the "Get down! Get down! And move it all around!" and the "I never had a dreaaaaammmm come trueeee..." or the "Ice ice baby... dang dang dang dang dang dang dang!". Hahahaa. I'm cracking up as I write this. Syok sendiri hahaha.

What else? Movies!! Back to the Future rocks big time yo!! I think I must've seen the trilogy about a million times (yes, I have the DVDs. Pirated of course haha). And SPEED. TRUE LIES. In LD hahaha. This is so old school.

Btw, I just downloaded Catch Me If You Can. BRILLIANT movie!! I gotta read the book now. So so so brilliant. I never really had a thing for Leo DiCaprio but he was freaking amazing in the movie.

Ok.. this entry is starting to be just a series of ramblings. lol.

And the tone is slowly moving from serious to bimbotic. Hahaha.

On a super light note! I can't wait to snowboard!!!!! I missed snowboarding last season cuz I was back in Malaysia and this year I am oh so determined to go at least once!! I still have fabulous memories of sitting on the top of the Panoramic run and gazing down at the whole of Vancouver on Cypress mountain. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Cant wait cant wait. And Cypress has some new runs!! yayyyyyy.

Ok. I am getting really excited now. All by myself in front of the computer.
Which is silly.

Alright. 20 days to Christmas!! Wheeee!
