<-- : I had a blast this holiday, first with such glorious sunshine for the past 2 weeks.. and hanging out with my friends doing touristy stuff, then going to Tofino.. then more tourist-y stuff and now, I can't believe it is all coming to an end!! >< I was actually dreading my 2 week semester break before it all started, honestly worried that I would be growing mould at home, staring at four blank walls, and feeling sorry for myself haha. But I had actually succeeded in keeping myself busy, entertaining myself with interesting activities, catching up with friends and enjoying myself. Hee hee. I feel a little sad that the holidays are coming to an end, and starting from tomorrow, I will be up to my neck with assignments, presentations, papers, midterms, and deadlines. >< But then again, in a way I am actually looking forward to being busy hehe. I kinda miss having a schedule and assigning everything else in between slots. Also, I am excited to be having classes in the summer. Finally being able to wear skirts and flip flops to class, smelling the sun soaked .. everything, the seemingly never-ending days, the liveliness of summer, ahhh~~~ =) I am smiling to myself merely by thinking about it. It's amazing how much I look forward to summer and how much I actually love it. It's like.. eight months of long-neck waiting, and the euphoria of it finally arriving is just... uncomprehensively ecstatic. I remmeber before I came to Vancouver, my dad (who once lived here for more than 10 yrs) would always tell me how beautiful Vancouver was in the summer. He was confident that I would love Vancouver as much as he did. Well back then he had alot more fun than I did though. He always told me stories about his years in Vancouver, and how he and my mom would drive to Vegas or San Francisco or LA or Edmonton or Banff or wherever during the long weekend to have fun. He would talk about how life was, and how he had a lot of white chicks swarming around him haha. >< (Everytime when he got to that part of the story, my mom would scoff and say: You only had one white girl friend.) But yeah, haha. It was fun listening to them - how they truly had fun, how they rooted for the Vancouver Canucks (ice hockey hehe), how they would go for road trips, how they used to dance (it was popular back then), how they did this and that. And I find that when I go back, it is my turn to tell them where I went and what I did, and they would go "oh yeah~ that place rocks" and stuff like that. Hmm I am jst rambling. I know I have a point. My point issssss... summer rocks!!! hehehehe.. Ok didnt mean to sound bimbo there >< Anyhows, I am feeling hungry. Gonna grab a light snack. Don't wanna ruin my appetite for dinner hehe. Which is... hmm.. anytime soon. lol.
