<-- : And no... I haven't uploaded pictures *sheepish* Anywayssss... jst got home from school hehe. The weather has been fantastic lately. Lurveee the sun!!!! Hmmm.. not sure if I should update my week's events cuz I can't really remember them myself. Hehe. Well one thing's for sure, I had a midterm yesterday and I actually spent the whole weekend going out. =_= I was determined to spend the weekend at home studying (despite the excellent weather forecasts) and had my mind absolutely set on being productive for the weekend. As it turned out, it is terribly difficult to be cooped up at home performing mundane and uninteresting tasks with no social interaction whatsoever when the sun is invitingly dazzling outside. SO I did no studying this weekend. Zero. Nada. Zilch. >< I went to Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver on Sunday though. For a BBQ. The BBQ was alright, but it was relaxing to just chill at the beach, admire the beautiful coastline, and talk about guys with my babes. hahaha. I am so in love with this laid back city. <3~~~ And the funny thing was, I sat for my midterm yesterday. It was actually a pretty easy midterm (if you knew your stuff). There were only 10 multiple choice questions (that anyone could breeze through effortlessly) and..... ... a SIX-PAGED article on a Korean steel company investing in Indian iron-ore mining fields.... that I had to answer three essay questions on. Imagine. SIX pages. Steel. And mining. Seriously, it wasn't until that moment that I realised how short an attention span I possessed. I don't think I can ever do anything that I do not have the slightest bit of interest in. By the time I got to the second page of the 10-point font article, my mind actually started wandering. Yes, I will not deny it. I was daydreaming in the middle of an exam. Several times too, in fact. Hee hee. On an entirely different note, I went shopping on Sunday in Downtown. OMGGGGGGG I couldn't help but feel this intense desire to buy buy buy buy buy! The summer sales are KE-RA-ZEEEEEE with skirts from Zara priced at 10 bucks!!!!! (I bought a skirt and a pair of black comfy pants) hahaha. I felt quite guilty though, only because I am once again, broke as hell, and I have more than 300 bucks outstanding in my credit card T_T After all, it's so easy to you know.. swipe the card and make payments later... *gulps* Anyways, I'm gonna go run the treadmill for abit. Hehe. BTW, my prof lent me this DVD about a month ago and I was too busy to watch it. Finally, I felt bad for holding on to it for so long so I decided to watch it last night. Saving Face was a really good movie! It depicts a Chinese-American surgeon in NY who is lesbian but afraid to tell her traditionally Chinese family (who lives in Flushing, NY). At the same time, her widowed mom mysteriously got pregnant and was kicked out of the house by her father. Something like that. It's really interesting. Talks about Chinese values and standing up for what you believe in. Not be confined by your culture. Don't be afraid to pursue what you want. Issues of love between mother and daughter, father and daughter, unforbidden love. It's a really cool movie. Plus, when I went to NY last December, I also visited Flushing in Queens. Cuz a friend of ours lived there. So it was quite cool to see places that you've been to in a movie. Hehe. Anyways, need to run the treadmill. hehe. Gonna work out in time for CNY 2007!!!!! ho ho ho.. cant wait!!!!!!
