Right now I am just bursting with excitement!!!

I havent been home since CNY 2008. Meaning the last time I went back was 18 months ago?

I feel so happy thinking about how great it will be when I go back. Although, I think I should lower my expectations because I might be disappointed when I go back. Just like how you feel so excited about a movie and it usually ends up not living up to your expectations.

I will be going home for six months this time. The longest I've ever been back since I first came to Vancouver six years ago.

It's a scary thought you know? Not knowing what to expect. Not sure what I will be doing.

All I know is that I am more than ready to take a break. And I am ready to go home to try it out. See if I could stay there forever.

As excited as I am, I know I will miss Vancouver alot. Miss my life here. Miss what I have here.

I'll miss the gorgeous summers.

I'll miss feeling like a little child as I watch the first snowflakes fall in the winter.

I'll miss wearing my boots, scarf and coat.

I'll miss all my favourite restaurants here.

And Sweet Revenge. My favourite dessert place of all time.

I'll miss the friends I made here.

I'll miss being able to refund something after I broke it. Lol. And without a receipt. (Walmart, they take anything.)

I'll miss feeling safe when I walk home from the Skytrain at night, without having to clutch on to my handbag for dear life.

I'll miss the Food Network.

I'll miss going down to Seattle to eat my favourite seafood soup at Lorenzo's (mexican restaurant in Bellingham).

I'll miss everything about Vancouver.

I will miss Vancouver.

Boo. Lol! My excitement level went from an all-time high to nothing right now haha!

Ok let me raise my excitement level once more:

I can't wait to eat nasi lemak.

I can't wait to see my brother!

And the rest of my family. Lol!

I can't wait to hang out with my friends!!!!!

I can't wait to be HOME, and have someone else cook, clean, wash etc for a change.

I can't wait to be showered with love, affection and attention by my parents.. awwww.

I cannot WAIT to eat all my favourite food... yum!

Ok.. I can feel my excitement level going up now!

Lol.

On a random note, what is up with Twitter? I personally do not have an account, but it appears that more and more people are starting to use it. And even celebrities and the White House make announcements through Twitter???

On another random note (sorry, I'm watching the news now and they're pretty random lol), it's supposedly Back to School season now and sales volume are low due to the recession.

I remembered when I was going back to school. My parents always brought my sisters and I on a trip for school supplies in Popular Bookshop. It used to be funnnnn.. I would stock up on nice coloured pens, cool-ass mechanical pencils, even erasers from Japan that er.. erased more efficiently but were a dollar more expensive. haha!

I remember investing in a $12 mechanical pencil. Boy, I loved that pencil. Sadly, it broke after awhile and I couldnt replace it because they stopped selling it. It was my favourite because it had a long and thin needle on the cap (where you would put the lead in), and I always used that needle to clear my mechanical pencils when it got stuck.

Yeah. And I remembered I was super upset when my pencil case was stolen during my college year at Sunway College. There went my collection of pens. Hmm, on second thought, I think I lost my $12 mechanical pencil like that, and was unable to replace it after.

Nah. I cant remember anymore haha.

I dont even need a pencil case anymore. Let alone a mechanical pencil. The stationery section used to be my favourite when I was in high school, and now I only bother with the Ladies' Wear. And the kitchenware department. hahaa.

For some reason, I love looking at kitchenware. Seeing the pots and pans and all the cool gadgets that you can use while cooking.

Oh well. I wouldnt be needing any of the kitchen stuff when I go back to KL! My mom probably has a huge collection of stuff that she never uses. haha.

OK, this entry is getting more and more random.

Watching the show makes me wish I could dance.

Just like watching American Idol made me wish I could sing. Lol.

And watching the Food Network made wish I could cook well.

Out of the above, (dancing, singing and cooking), I think I am probably best at singing and cooking because I sing in the shower and I cook everyday.

Lol. Practice makes perfect, right?
