Really. Again and again. It never fails to surprise me at how I always feel the same range of mixed emotions when I realize that another year had flew by. Just like that. Right before my very own eyes.

Where did all the time go?

Lately I've been feeling the weight of being an adult. A young adult. Still fresh in the society. Trying to live like one. Struggling to let go of her childhood. Wishing endlessly to relive the young carefree happy-go-lucky days. Missing the feeling of being sheltered and protected. The times when everything came easily... oh, so easily.

If only I didn't need to grow up. Life would be so wonderful then. Haha.

It seems that these days everyone around me have problems of their own. Real grown-up problems. Financial problems. Job security. Life and death. Love and marriage. And I know that I am not the only one feeling lost sometimes, not knowing which way in life to proceed with.

Life is about growing up I guess. In the end, everyone goes through the same phases in life. My parents did. Their parents did. Their parents' parents did.

On a lighter note, I recently tumbled across this fantabulous Japanese series!

At first I thought it was a cliche love story with silly Japanese humour. But after watching the first episode, I realised I was hooked. And I watched all eleven episodes in one night! (Yes, I stayed up till 6am to finish it. That was how good it was.) I even watched the movie after the series, which was a continuation of the series.

Why I loved it:

1) It's so funny!
2) It's so touching....
3) The main theme was about living life with no regrets, which is something I've learnt

All in all, highly recommended!

SPEND LESS, SAVE MORE,
BUY SMART, EAT HEALTHY,

... AND GO WITH THE FLOW. HO HO HO
