Well, I received my severance package yesterday. They will be giving me $4000 in severance alone only if I work till September 1.

So I have decided to stay for that extra one month, for the severance, for the extra month's pay, and postpone getting my life back.

Lol. Yes, I succumbed to money. The company bought me over for 4000 bucks.

That just goes to show how cheap I am. Lol!!

So I have officially changed my flight to August 28th and incurred a penalty charge of $75.00. Which isn't too bad. I was expecting it to be $500.

I have to say that my special babe, Yen Ni, was such an amazing friend! Aww... I love you, babe!

Not only was she not mad that I ditched our plans to HK-Macau (Air Asia flight paid for, and will probably be forfeited), but she was also especially supportive in encouraging me to stay for the severance.

Don't know if we will be able to go on a trip together anymore, given her busy schedule. And we were both looking forward to our trip too. Oh well, I'm so sorry this had to happen and I swear I will make it up to you, Loh Yen Ni! :)

So, I guess I will officially be in KL on August 30, 2009!

Still excited, still looking forward to going home.

It may be more than a month from now, but time flies. I still have a finish line to look forward to. I may have added another 10 miles to my marathon, but the finish line is definitely there. Whee!

I can't wait!!!!
