<-- : Kuala Lumpur - Hong Kong : -->

I am back in Siencouver. Have been back for three days now. Got back on Monday afternoon and went right back to work on Tuesday.

I had the one of the best two weeks that I've had in a long time. CNY absolutely tops the list of My Favourite Festive Seasons. lol. And I also managed to squeeze 2 nights in Hong Kong into my ultra tight itinerary. Which was a blessing in disguise.. I had originally planned to stay only one night in HK but due to unforeseen circumstances, I was pressured into staying 2 nights in HK and I had a great time there. Managed to see my biew jies whom I havent met since the last time I saw them which was in 2005, and also managed to see my best friend from college hahaha.. Amanda!! Was really good to see her especially since the last time we met was in 2004 (I think) and both our keeping in touch skills suckass hahaha.

This trip is definitely the most different trip back to Malaysia. First of all, I only got to spend 2 weeks in Malaysia, my shortest trip back ever. Secondly, because my trip was so short, I felt the need to fully utilize every second of my vacation. I usually like to have a couple of hours of alone time a day where I enjoy my own company. But throughout my entire vacation, I barely had any time to relax and just watch TV or read a book (I brought back four different books which I didn't touch at all haha).

And because my trip was short... before I knew it, I was back in Vancouver. And because I had to go back to work as soon as I got back, I didnt even have time to feel homesick or anything. Instead I felt like my whole 2 week vacation was more of a dream and right now I am actually back in reality.... with everything falling back into routine, going to work at 9am (well I try to anyways haha), getting off work at 4pm, feeling miserable at work again, making plans for the weekend... just like what I used to do before I left.

Then again, what was I expecting to change? After all, it was merely two weeks that I had spent in Malaysia. Of course, everything was to resume to the norm when I got back.

But then, for me, it wasn't just two weeks. So much had happened in those two weeks... being with my family again, meeting everyone - old friends, new friends, seeing everything so familiar yet so many changes... For me, it was as if my old life in Malaysia had resumed itself, coming to a halt when I left, and probably resuming when I next return home.

Anywhos!! I just uploaded pictures that I have taken using my phone. I er.. forgot to bring my camera on my vacation haha. So I didn't take much pictures but will be collecting pictures from all over lol. soon. hahahaa.

Random pics slideshow begins:

Family pic!! In grandmas home in Seremban on Chor yat....

I was like: "Pa! Are you sure we can park here?????" Dad: "Malaysia boleh!!!! Look, everyone is doing it too." Please note the berhenti sign...

Took this on the train to the other terminal... definitely holds the record of being the place where I've cried the most times. ><

So, this trip back, there were a lot of firsts:

1) First time spending my own $$ the entire trip... boy am I broke right now!!! (Advice to little boys and girls: try to stay in school for as long as you can... working isn't fun ><)

2) First time I was on The Eye in Titiwangsa...

I like this shot. Altho the ride was a tad boring after one round hahahaa

3) First time I see hair growing at the side of someone's hand...

5) First time I see the temperature as 42C!!!!!!!!!!
