To my utmost horror, they told me it was SOLD OUT. A customer close by told me that fans were SOLD OUT everywhere in Vancouver and it would be impossible to buy a fan at anytime soon.

!!!!!!

I almost fainted. And went on a shopping spree for cold food to keep my cool, such as salad, yoghurt, milk, fruits.

This is ridiculous.

Last winter when it was unexpectedly cold and left up to 2 ft of snow, all the major stores were sold out of portable heaters and shovels.

Now that we are experiencing a sudden heat wave, we are sold out of fans???

Gosh... I feel like I'm in a sauna right now. Obviously unwillingly.

I am not even doing anything and I am sweating like crazy. And it's not sweat, but SWEAT. As if I'd just finished jogging 10 miles or something under the sun.

My friend suggested that maybe this was a blessing in disguise. Since I needed to lose weight, and I was sweating without exercising.

Haha. I hope so. Keeps fingers crossed.

Oh!!! A friend jst told me that the Home Depot near my house are selling fans!!!!

OMG.

OMG!!!!

I walked all the way to Home Depot only to discover that all fans or portable a/c's were SOLD OUT... AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Apparently they had a shipment of fans and a/cs this morning, and another shipment today at 4pm. 27 different kinds of fans.

All. Sold. OUT.

And people were in line for TWO goddamn hours to buy fans.

Someone, save me from this heat!!!
