Have been busy... oh alright alright!

Have been lazy... as usual. heeee. I jst finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and I can't deny that I am sorry that this will be the last of an amazing series! The final book was nothing short of my expectations (imagine two years' worth of anticipation for this book).

At first I was hesitant to begin reading the book... wasnt sure if it was because I was afraid of feeling disappointed (as I had by the Order of the Phoenix) or if I was dreading coming to a closure with the Harry Potter series. After all, Harry Potter has played quite a role in my life for the past seven years (yes, that has been how long since I first started reading it).

Well well, J.K. Rowling did a good job with the last book. It was a good closure. Deeper and darker than the rest, answering every question left unanswered in the previous books, tying every little detail into place, leaving me gripping with fear throughtout most of the book, and tearing every now and then...

Alright. Enough of sounding like a geek.

Summer is awesome!! The sun is out again (we had a horrible week of gloom and rain last week) and the annual fireworks competition is being held again!! This year's competition is between Spain, Canada and China. It started last Wednesday (heard Spain did an amazing job) and I went to watch Canada compete on Saturday (which I thought was good!! Only that Spain was supposedly better). So, this Wednesday, I am definitely going to watch China compete and hopefully on Saturday, watch the finale, where the winner will get to do their thang again!

Cant wait..

Two or three weeks ago, we had an awesome time at the beach. We did a BBQ for lunch and spent like 10 hours at the beach haha, only leaving at around 8pm!! Awesomeness... It was such a laid-back relaxing day. Honestly!! We were just... having fun, sleeping under the sun on the sand.. playing soccer after that.. just chilling and having a good time. Gosh, it was like the awesomest day I have had for the longest time!

Speaking of which, I have been eating out a lot lately, and have been spending extravagantly on food alone!! Just the past weekend, I spent... CAD$100 bucks. On eating out. And lately I've been going out for dinner at least 5 times a week, and assuming that I spend an average of $15 per meal, that would mean that I spend an verage of $300 on eating out per month!!! Craziness.

And I never actually noticed this until my colleague decided to discourage my habit of eating out by calculating how much money I could have saved from all that. lol.

Anywhos... we're going to go biking tomorrow since the weather is supposed to be awesome!! I love biking around Stanley park... the scenery is just breathtakingly beautiful. It never fails to amaze me just how beautiful Vancouver is. How the city embraces nature upon itself. How the city glows under the sun and clear blue sky.

Well, I havent uploaded pictures in a long time.. might do that some day lol. When I'm not too lazy, haha.
