<-- : orang yang saya paling benci kat office had a training session the whole day dan saya juga ade half-day training session from 1pm to 430pm. SO, this means that seluruh hari ini, saya hanya lihat dia less than separuh jam!!!! Bila saya habis training saya sudah boleh balik rumah muahahahaha *evil laugh* OK I give up. My BM sucks hahahaha. But I'm tired. My BM is too rusty. So I give up. But yes, all in all. Very good day at work! Woke up very early this morning... (aka woke up before my alarm clock had the chance to even snooze!) Was feeling really good cuz I was taking my own sweet time to wash up, get ready, catch the bus and all. However, I was a little surprised that I was still late for work!! Lol. Although, today I am merely 15 mins late as opposed to the usual 30 to 40 mins. lol!! OK before anyone starts shaking their heads, I've checked with my manager and she has told me on many occasions that she doesn't care what time I get to work as long as I make up my time for it. So yes, I am definitely taking advantage of that. lol. Speaking of BM... I had the privilege of putting my BM language skills to use this trip back to Malaysia... I was crossing the baggage check at Gate C36 in the KLIA. I had timed everything perfectly, leaving my house, checking in, bidding my family farewell and arriving at the gate precisely at the time when I was supposed to board. So, I was happily (ok, maybe not so happily) in line waiting to go into the waiting area to board the plane. And when my hand luggage went through the baggage scan, they brought my bags aside and started searching through it. Kak #1: Ade liquid... He stares at me like I'm nuts. Me: hah.. jangan macam ini la.. boleh saya send ke rumah saya ah? The moment I said those words I thought to myself: Shit! That sounded like a bribe... SG: Siapa hantar untuk you?? You beritahu saya sekarang macam mana you nak hantar ini. When I later told my sister this part of the story, she burst out laughing. Apparently in the Malay culture, women call their husbands "abang"???? Haahaha!! I dont know, I wasn't sure how to address him cuz I didn't wanna sound too formal since I am pleading for his help. So I thought since I always call women, kak.. means I should call men... abang? hahaha SG: *exasperated but also sympathetic* Ini betul tak boleh bagi you angkat atas la... So (by this time, I already feel that my BM is awesome), I asked the perempuan and she suggested a brilliant answer - that was to go to Guardian to buy empty bottles to fill my stuff in. With only 10 mins to takeoff... I flew all the way to Guardian, didn't find exactly what I was looking for but bought them anyway (2 @ rm13.90 each!!), and flew back to Gate C36 which was at the other end of the terminal. Started opening my empty bottles and filling in my Shiseido products (I decided to forgo the other stuff). Basically, everyone had boarded the plane and I was still out there filling in bottles lol. This was when Kak #2 started helping me out. Kak #2: Apa ni... aiyah, ambil satu sini la.. i tolong you... At this time, about four or five other women and the security guard were gathering around us participating in our conversation. And basically towards the end I was practically promoting Shiseido hahaha.. Since I couldnt stuff everything into the empty bottles, I told Kakak #2 to take my stuff home to use. Me: Ini saaaangat bagus oh... dan sangat mahal... you cuci muka dengan cleanser.. guna sikit (shows her the amount to use) nah sikit saja.. then itu toner yah. guna .. err .. er.. cotton... Hahahaha.... it was really funny actually. I couldn't stop laughing the whole time I was boarding the plane. And the people were really nice to me tooooooo... helping me fill in the bottles and all. Haahahaha... It's definitely one of those priceless experiences that makes each day different and worth living for. Which you can laugh about. Which you look back and think about the people you have bonded with. Just random strangers whose paths crossed yours for a brief moment. People you may remember forever but may never see again. And it is just little things like that in life that makes life so beautiful. Just simple things that warms your heart. Lets you feel serendipity and contentment. Serene at heart and contented with life. So even though there are certain aspects of my life that could be better, I am glad to say that after the huge transition into the adult world, I am still contented with my life. =) New Blog! - Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009 Mon Bella - Tuesday, August 18, 2009 18 more days.. and counting.. - Monday, Aug. 10, 2009 - - Monday, Aug. 10, 2009 Random entry.... - Thursday, Aug. 06, 2009 |
