Think it will probably take me several weeks to get used to 2008.

2007 had been a good year. Eventful with many highs and lows. It was also the year that I transitioned from student life to the real world. That took awhile to get used to as well. Plus a bunch of other stuff that made me who I am today hehe.

SO! 2008. I remember when yeeling and I were in Form3 or something, we had set 2008 or 2009 to be the year that we will go to Hawaii together. lol. It is now 2008. And we have dropped that idea a long time ago.

At that time, to us 2008 seemed like a long way to go. After all, it was only 1999 (if we had made those promises when we were 15). We havent even entered the Millenium yet back then. Whoever thought that 2008 would come by in a jiffy? I certainly never expected so.

But yeah. So much has happened since then. Everyone around me has turned wiser and more matured, most of them with stable careers and in serious relationships. It makes me smile to see everyone blossom into young adults who will slowly transition into the moms and dads that we know today. (Although, I think when that day comes I will still probably find it downright weird. lol)

So! How have I been since my last entry. I should rename this Diaryland page to Monthryland. lol. Okok lame. ><

I've been good. Been getting used to the gloomy cold winter days. Oh we had a white Christmas! The first white Christmas in many years. Had three awesome turkey dinners this season. Spent a hell lot of money this month. (Income - Expenses = Negative $$$ ... I'm getting all accountingish here haha). Working half-heartedly for the past month.

And I will be going back to Malaysia for CNY!! Ok.. I seriously wonder if anyone still ever reads this blog. Oh well, whoever that doesnt is missing out HAHAHA. But yeahhh.. cny in kl! This year is gonna be fun.. I can just feel it in my bones. Most of my cousins from other countries will be coming back for CNY this year.. it will be so much fun to have everyone gather together!!

I really love family events. Feels good to see and talk with people whom you had grown up with and knew you since you were born. These are the people who you can not talk to for 500 years and still feel that not a day has passed since you last parted when you meet up.

Ok as usual, this entry is beginning to be a mixture of ramblings. Yeeling commented the other day that I am super random. Which actually came to me as a surprise. lol. So yeah, I guess that's another thing that I learnt about myself. haha. But what she said now makes sense. As in, yeah i do get why she says that I am random. I mean, judging from my blog entries alone, it takes a lot of concentration (and backspacing) on my part to focus on one topic lol. I notice that I do digress from topic to topic when I blog, which reflects how I can associate one thing with something totally unrelated in a stranger's eye but makes perfect sense to me. lol.

See I did it again. I started this blog with... (let's scroll up and see) 2007 and 2008! And somehow I ended up talking about moi! hahahahaha! Ok, maybe I am not random. Maybe I am just pure narcissistic. lol.

Anyways, I have totally lost my tan lines from summer. Well I will have to look REALLY close to notice the difference in colour. Which is pretty amazing considering I was so tanned in the summer that everyone said I looked like a Malay chick. So, within a mere duration of THREE months, I can utterly lose my tan. Amazing. Oh well, it is probably a good thing since my mom didnt really like my attempted-to-look-exotic-but-turned-out-burnt look the last time I went back to Malaysia about 3 summers back. lol.

Alright. I should go to bed since I am on MSN with my dad right now and he keeps bugging me to go to bed. For eg: "How are you, pa?" "Sleep la." or "Are you at work, pa?" "Sleep." >< So now you see where I inherited my randomness from. lol.
